where is our humanity today ?
Where is our humanity today?
let's be honest, there are a few people who don't like an animal. their sweet and small little paws, their whiskers everything is adorable. but do we care about them? millions of animals are being killed every day.
it is also shameful how much we care about fancy dogs and cats and not at all about stray animals.
like one day at my university I saw a boy who was so angry for some reason, when a puppy came towards him . He kicked it and started to get more furious and drain his anger on it. the little puppy was clueless about what it did. and it also shocked me how people around him didn't say anything to him, only one of his friends asked him to stop.
we always see cases like this as animals can't speak for themselves they often get tortured and most of the people around us don't even care to help these victims
people are all animal lovers sill they would choose a Persian cat over a stray cat .they think Persian cats are more clam and easy to tame but it's a matter of fact all animals have their identity.
I help stray and lonely animals who can not survive in wildlife to find their forever home. so I post on social media if anyone likes to take them. sometimes I don't even get any response. but when I see someone put their Persian cat up for adoption the comments flow in that post.
however, people can have their liking towards animals but that doesn't mean you ignore others.
as humans when we experience pain what do we say? ouch!
but like humans, animals don't have the power to express their pain.
these animals are tortured violently and repeatedly which is extremely cold-blooded. there are so many animal rights in the world but they are not being used properly.
billions of animals are used to see how safe the products or drugs are. and it should be banned causes it is wasteful. After all, it is hard to take results from an experiment on animals as most drugs don't act right on humans. there are some better alternatives as technology is upgrading day by day there won't be any need to taste on animals.
nowadays people get pets as their toys and not offering proper care for their healthy life. pet shops dye the fur of dogs to look like a panda or a horse's fur to look like a unicorn as it financially benefits them not caring about how harmful it is for them as colors produce toxins in them.
fashionable fur coats are taken from animals such as foxes and rabbits. these animals are alive and breathing and conscious as their skin is being ripped off aggressively. how can people be so fancy just to look fancy?
this is inhuman and insensitive.
let us put all these aside, animals are being tortured to put a show in front of the human. trainers use painful tools to train animals .they hit them inhumanly until they bleed to make them perform dangerous tricks like standing on their hand, jumping through a fired hoop, etc.
even though tigers are natural fair free still some circuses force them to jump on a fired hoop and injured them.
with the help of technology, there has been an invention where holograms project animated animals doing tricks. the best thing about this is animals don't get hurt and children get entertained.
but the torture doesn't end here. we all know about aquariums are fun and educational but we don't know how fish get injured and bruise on one side of their face because of the shape of the tank as they don't have several paths to go through.
an improvement I have recently come across is that some restaurants are banning plastic straws with paper straws, metal straws, or recyclable lids.
Plastic in oceans is a huge problem as it occurs pollution and animals suffer death as plastic straws are stuck on turtles' nostrils, and seals are wrapped up in plastic bags.
so for, another thing I have came across is a submarine-like robot that collects waste from the ocean.
animals cants talk for their rights. so animal rights should speak for them.
but why wait for any establishment of animal rights when we can just start changing our behaviors towards animals and be a little bit kind. they can be our best friend. we should also teach our children how to be kind to them. together we can make a happy planet
it's all in our hands.
