ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response)

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, it is a sensation that is released from the brain and makes your body and mind relaxed. It is known as brain massage, it's triggered by placid sights and sounds such as whispers, accents, and crackles.
The sensation was coined in 2010 by Jennifer Allen, who started a Facebook group called ‘Whisper Therapy’ to bring attention to the phenomenon. From there, it spread like wildfire. People started sharing their own personal triggers, sounds and blows of whispering, ASMR started firing all over the internet. There are now thousands of YouTube channels devoted to ASMR, and the community is growing more and more.
Basically ASMR is a set of relaxing sounds, sounds that people hear & experience virtually. Content creators on YouTube create these relaxing atmospheres so that one can live the moment. All you need is to play an ASMR video on YouTube, choose what type of video soothes your body and mind, dim your lights, plug in your earphones and level up the volume to full. Done! You are ready to enjoy ASMR.
